Linda Roberts Green

Linda Roberts Green, 79, of Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

Born on June 1, 1945, in Beaufort, NC, to the late Roland and Elizabeth Swain, Linda grew up in a loving family of 6 children. Linda lived a life filled with love for her family and the Lord. She cherished the opportunity to share her faith with others by teaching Sunday School over the years.

An avid reader and skilled seamstress, Linda brought creativity and joy to those around her. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Green White and Melissa Green Quinn, both of Beaufort, NC; grandchildren, Chris White, Michael White, Jeremy White, Timothy Joel Franklin Cade, and James Wakezel Quinn; and great-granddaughters, Kaeslyn White and Nova Leigh.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Carraway and Phyllis Milam; and brothers, Al Swain, Donald Swain, and Calvin Swain.
