Linda was born on September 4, 1948, in Smithfield, North Carolina, to the late Joseph and Christine Lee. She was a longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Clayton before moving to the beach, where she became a cherished member of the Crystal Coast Worship Center in Salter Path. Linda shared her love for others in all that she did. She had an enduring career with Nationwide insurance, and after retiring she helped run two trucking companies, Husel G. Lee and L.L.L. Trucking.
She had many passions, including a love for the beach, traveling, and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Linda loved the thrill of gambling, with Wheel of Fortune being her favorite show to watch. Whenever she had the opportunity, she enjoyed fishing, soaking in the peace and beauty of the waters she loved. Linda will be forever remembered for her kindness, joyful heart, and the love she shared with all who were lucky enough to know her.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband Archie of the home; son, Stephen Lee (Phyllis) of Smithfield, N.C.; brother, Jeffrey Lee (Kim) of Willow Spring, N.C.; grandsons, Noah and Connor Lee.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her spouse of 50 years, Husel Lee; son, Phillip Lee; sister, Lisa Lawrence; brothers, Larry and Al Lee.
