Lia Grace Gimbel, 3 days, of Havelock, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center.
Services for baby Lia will be private.
Lia was born prematurely on December 30, 2018. In her short life, she made an impression on others including the doctors and nurses that cared for her and described her as being feisty.
She is survived by her parents, Erick and Alicia Gimbel of Havelock; paternal grandparents, David and Susan Gimbel of Philadelphia, PA; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Joan Blair.
