Leda Lawrence
July 29, 1922 — November 1, 2009
Leda Lewis Lawrence, 87, of Harkers Island, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Taylor Extended Care.
Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Harkers Island United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Harkers Island United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brad Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, McKinley Lawrence and wife Renee of Harkers Island; daughter, Christie Guthrie of Harkers Island; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Lawrence, brother, Reginald Lewis, and a sister, Eula Mae Brooks.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the church.
