Larry Jefferson
August 14, 1947 — April 1, 2016
Larry Wilson Jefferson, 68, of Morehead City, passed away Friday April 1, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City.
Larry was an extremely hard worker who did “everything but dishes and diapers”; as his business card stated. He had a love for all animals, great and small. Larry served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his significant other, Jackie Smith; two sons, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Wilson Jefferson; daughter, Kokathea Shontail Leonard; brother, Brady Jefferson; sisters, Lillie Tyre and Nancy Stancil and Brenda Harrison; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Albert and Melva Bell Clark Jefferson; brothers, Albert Bonnor Jefferson and David Jefferson; sisters, Joy Jean Gurkin and Helen Darlene Ward.
