Larry Burge

Larry Burge, 70, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, December 18­, 2018, at his home.

His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at St. James United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Tom Supplee.

Larry was an avid artist who was well known in our region. He performed with the Crystal Coast Jamboree and played the bass guitar for Huckleberry Mudflap.

He is survived by his sister, Dixie Burge of the home and Malinda Falardeau and husband, David, of New Bern.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Burge and mother, Leigh Burge.
