Kenneth “Ken” Luchen Woodlin, 82, of Emerald Isle, NC, passed away on January 7, 2024.

He was born on August 2, 1941, in Salem, NJ, to the late Carlton Woodlin and Lola Osborn. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Woodlin, his daughter Dee Duggan (Tom) of Emerald Isle, NC, and his son Ken Woodlin (Rebecca) of Garnet Valley, PA. He was a proud grandfather to Matt Duggan, Sam Duggan, Zoe Duggan, Sierra Woodlin, and Morgan Woodlin. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Al Ponto (Evelyn) of Coatesville, PA and his sister Peg Jaeger of Pennsville, NJ. Ken was preceded in death by his brothers Mike, Harvey, and Art Woodlin.

Ken was a proud Air Force veteran, having served in the military. He attended Drexel University for higher education. Following his military service, Ken embarked on a successful career as a Manager at EI DuPont in Wilmington, DE, where he dedicated 32 years of his life. He was a dedicated member of the New Castle Lions Club in New Castle, DE for 20 years and actively participated in the Delaware Saengerbund in Newark, DE. Ken also served on the Military Affairs Committee with the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, Ken enjoyed his passion for golfing and spending time with his family dogs. He cherished breakfasts with his friends, where laughter and stories were shared. Ken was the sole supporter of the Dallas Cowboys in a family of Philadelphia Eagles fans. He cherished moments spent with his family and friends. Mostly, Ken was known for his friendly and sociable nature.

A ceremony to celebrate Ken's life will be held at a later date, with the details still to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in Ken's memory.

Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, dedication, and service will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
