Karen Hamilton
September 14, 1953 — February 19, 2010
Karen Miller Hamilton, 56, of Beaufort, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
She was a dedicated Registered Nurse at Carteret General Hospital for many years.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Carteret Memorial Gardens with Dr. Keith T. Hamilton officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen R. Hamilton; daughter, Michelle Parkin Nelson and husband Dale of Morehead City; brother, Tommy Miller and wife Teresa of Beaufort' grandson, Chase Andrew Nelson and several nieces and nephews and her baby dog, Roxy.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Parkin and her parents, Roscoe and Edith Miller.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
