Martha Joyce Jacobs Lowery, 82, of Newport, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Lowery officiating.
Martha was a member of Community Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susie Vaughan, and Dail Rose; two sons, Tommy Lowery, and Ray Lowery; brother; Buck Jacobs; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Archie Lowery; son, Clayton Lowery; daughter, Martha Weaver and parents, Alan and Bertha Jacobs.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
