Josie Marie Smetana, 87, of Morehead City, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at Carolina House.
At Mrs. Smetana’s request, no formal services are planned.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Nicely of Morehead City, NC; son, Charles E. Smetana, Jr. of Clayton, NC; two grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Smith of Lexington, NC, and John Smith of Goldsboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any charity beneficial to Alzheimers research.
