Joseph “Joe” William Mason Jr., 91, of Atlantic, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Snug Harbor.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Atlantic United Methodist Church.
Joe was a lifelong member of Atlantic United Methodist Church. He was the postmaster for over 30 years in Atlantic and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Joe is survived by his wife, Helen Mason of Atlantic; son, Billy Mason and wife Mary Ann of Youngsville; 4 grandchildren, Lauren Mason Thorn, Alan Mason, Joseph Mason and William Mason; 3 great grandchildren, Davis, Bethany and James; and the entire family of Down East.
He is preceded in death by his son, Keith Mason and his nine siblings.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Atlantic United Methodist Church.
