Joseph William McMurtrie, 81, of Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.
A funeral mass for Joseph will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave #51, Lansdale, PA 19446.
Joseph was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who had an expansive career in the meat business for over 60 years. He traveled the world, made friends wherever he went and never met a dog he didn't like.
Joseph is survived by his son, Matthew McMurtrie (Shawn McMurtrie); daughter, Jessica McMurtrie (Michael Palumbo); and his five grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan, Connor, Caitlin and Charley.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Patricia McMurtrie and daughter, Lisa McMurtrie.
