Joseph Aaron Berry
April 25, 1947 — October 25, 2016
Joseph Aaron Berry, 69, of Havelock, NC, formally of Burlington, NJ. passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home, under Craven County Hospice.
There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Cremations in Havelock, NC, with Chaplin Angel Lorton officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Joseph served in the U.S. Army for 3 years; and was a member of the VFW Post #7315, in Havelock, NC, and was a former past Senior Vice President of the John Billington VFW Post #6485 of Levitttown, PA. He was a master mechanic, a master carpenter and retired from the city of Burlington.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Virginia Berry, of the home; daughters, Monica Lynn Diamond Alexander and husband Dennis of Havelock, Kelly Johanna Diamond of Havelock, and Jaclyn Marie Berry of Bristol, PA; son, Joseph Aaron Berry, Jr. of Levittown, PA; mother Anna Marie Petitt, of Manheim, PA; brother, Charles “Chuck” William Berry of Derry, PA; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Honor, Hannah, Joey, Lauren, Jonathan, Ashley, Amanda, Kelsey and DJ, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Daniel Berry; and son, Kristofor Joseph Berry.
