John Patrick Policastro

John Patrick Policastro, 85, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

John was born on March 12, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey to the late Peter and Ann Policastro.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Policastro of Newport, NC; children, Terry Faraone (Joseph) of New York, Don Policastro of New Jersey, Cindy Fogarty (John) of New York, Robert Higgins of New Jersey, Joseph Higgins of Newport, NC, and Patrick Higgins (Jamie) of Newport, NC; grandchildren, Gerard Faraone, Hannah Fogarty, Kayla Niesen, Anthony Higgins, Samantha Higgins, and Kyle Higgins; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Bev Niesen.
