John Farron Goodwin, 68, of Kinston, formerly of Cedar Island, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at UNC Health Lenior Hospital.
John will be laid to rest privately.
John was born on January 18, 1956, in Morehead City, NC, to the late Perry and Addie Goodwin.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his brother, Charles Forrest Goodwin and wife, Carolene of Newport, and several nieces.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers, Perry Goodwin Jr., Curtis Goodwin; and his sisters, Ann Daniels, Phyllis Gillikin, and Dale Lawrence.
