John Bell
May 27, 1938 — November 10, 2009
J. C. Bell, 71, of Pine Knoll Shores, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Bell was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Morehead City.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, John Calvin Bell, Jr. of Raleigh; step-sons, Dr. G.M. Conekin and wife LuLu of Jacksonville, Stephen Conekin and wife Caroline of New Bern and Jeff Conekin of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Charlie Bell of Newport and five grandchildren, Madison Bell, Ivy Conekin, Drew Conekin, Blake Conekin and Camden Conekin.
A memorial service will be held at the family home at 11:00 am Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, N.C. Eastern Area, P.O. Box 1407, Greenville, NC, 27834.
