Jerry Henry Birch, 62, of Harkers Island, died friday, July 30, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00am Friday, August 13 at Munden Funeral Home, with Rev. Manly Rose officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Jerry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart for serving his country. He also attended the Refuge Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his loving and devoted friend of more than 17 years, Valerie Davis Hernandez of Beaufort, NC, and his best friend Manly Rose, Sr. and wife Debra of Harkers Island.
