James Greeley Walker
August 30, 1930 — November 17, 2015
James Greeley Walker, 85, of Pine Knoll Shores passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 20, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
James Honorably served in the Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Michigan State with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. He was self-employed and owner of Multiple Business before retiring from unfinished furniture by Ship and Shore in 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Walker of 62 years; daughter, Diana Lynn Walker Morris and husband Jon of Newport; son Bradley James Walker of Pine Knoll Shores; one grandchild, Cynthia Dilallo and husband Joseph of Newport; two great-grandchildren, Jon Swecker and Teri Dilallo.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Eleanor Maas Walker.
