James Eric Martin
June 1, 1973 — January 2, 2016
James Eric Martin, 42, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at UNC Lineberger Cancer Center.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Pastor Joseph Marquez officiating.
He is survived by his son and wife Devin and Logan Conner of Lexington, NC; parents, David and Meredith Martin of Newport; one brother, David Martin of Newport, NC; one sister, Marie Goad and husband Kevin of Newport, NC; three nephews, Tyler, Trevor, and Chandler; grandmother, Cornelia Brunson Ward; Love of his life, Larissa Harper; also Beloved furbaby Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his sister in law, Sharon Martin.
Following the service there will be a gathering of friends and family at Eric’s Sisters house.
