James A. Deeter “Jim”, a man richly and deeply rooted in the Christian faith, went into Glory at daybreak, September 9, 2026, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House, following a brief illness.

A graveside service, with military honors and attended by immediate family only, will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, September 14th, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Newport, officiated by Rev. Norman Waligora.
