James "Cubby" Brickhouse
July 12, 1952 — June 26, 2016
James “Cubby” Brickhouse, 63, of Havelock, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Johnson officiating.
Cubby graduated from West Carteret High School in 1971. After High School, Cubby pursued his love of writing and published a book.
He is survived by his brother, Gennis Ervin Brickhouse, Jr. of Newport; sister, Karen Morton of Newport; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gennis and Rachel Brickhouse.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 1:00- 2:00 pm, at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
