Jalaha Dize
Villareal
October 22, 1986 – May 23, 2026
Jalaha Dize Villareal, 39, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Pastor Jim Hendrix. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park in Newport. The family will receive friends the evening prior from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Jalaha was born on October 22, 1986, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Feliciano Villareal and Linda Denise McAdams Bailey.
Jalaha had a good heart, and he would give his shirt off his back for you. He had the most friendliest and best smile and his laugh was very contagious. He was always a joy to be around and was always in a happy mood. He always made things fun. He was able to see and understand both sides of people’s situations in arguments, bringing a perfect balance to any situation, which made him a great friend to have.
With his fun-loving spirit Jalaha brought much happiness to the lives of his family and friends. He loved playing pool, spending time outdoors, fishing, and relaxing with video games. He enjoyed collecting knives and loved listening to music. Known for his vibrant personality it’s no surprise that his favorite color was bright green, a color that matched his energy.
Jalaha was a very smart individual, always coming up with ideas to solutions at the snap of a finger, the perfect problem solver. People always told him how smart he was and he’d always say, “no, I’m not.” He was one of the very few people that if he said he was going to do something, he would get it done! Jalaha was extremely loyal and never gave up on the people he truly loved. Jalaha worked for many years as a manager with Wendy’s locations in Havelock and Morehead City. He was a hard worker and strived to succeed in everything he did, especially his job.
Being a Libra meant both he and his wife, Breezy, were their top compatible matches, and they would regularly keep up with their horoscopes. Jalaha and his wife both came from a hard life and in the midst of everything being extremely rough for them, they were able to find each other in the chaos. Jalaha and Breezy are both recovering addicts and fought a long, hard journey in becoming and staying clean and building better lives for themselves and their two beautiful baby girls. Their battle with addiction was won and they both eventually bought a little place out in Harlowe, NC and settled down into the quiet, fun, and hectic family life of having a toddler and a newborn. Jalaha became the perfect father figure and husband that he always wanted to become but was taken too soon…. Jalaha was a one-of-a-kind person, a diamond in the rough. Loved and known by over half of the communities, he will be very much missed and forever in our hearts.
His proudest and greatest accomplishment was being a father and husband. His love, humor, and presence will forever remain in the hearts of his precious children and all who knew him.
Those left to treasure his memory are his wife of 2 ½ years, Breezy Villareal of the home; daughters, Fayelynn Graunke, Savanah Villareal, Aiyanna Villareal, and Ezlynn Villareal; son, Dakoda Graunke; 11 siblings; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended loving family members.
In addition to his parents, Jalaha was preceded in death by his stepfather who played a big role in his life, Charles Bailey.
