Holton Brown, Sr.
August 10, 1940 — January 11, 2011
Holton Brown, 70, of Cape Carteret, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Brown Cemetery in Cape Carteret with Rev. Chuck Headden officiating.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shelby Brown of the home; two sons, Holton Taft Brown, Jr. of Cape Carteret, and Eric Brown and girlfriend, Carla Alderink of Morehead City; grandson Kyle Hunter Brown of Cape Carteret; special step-granddaughter, Savannah Alderink; sister, Pauline Rawls of Cape Carteret; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family of Holton Taft Brown, Sr, 130 Taylor Notion Road, Cape Carteret, NC 28584-8940.
