Grace Chadwick

Grace L. Chadwick, 73, of Straits, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Chadwick graduated from Smyrna High School in 1954. She retired from First Citizens Bank with over 30 years of service.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Carteret Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eric Lindblade officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. Guthrie of the home; one sister, Betty C. Smith of North River; one nephew, Thomas S. Smith, Sr.; two great nephews, Thomas A. Smith, Jr. and wife Monica and Christopher A. Smith; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrwow and Cappie Chadwick and brother-in-law,Thomas M. Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Straits United Methodist Church, 311 Straits Rd., Beaufort, NC 28516.
