Gertrude Guthrie, 89, of Salter Path, died Sunday, May 23, at Harborview Health Care Center.
Mrs. Guthrie was a member of Salter Path United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Gales Creek Cemetery with Pastor Tim Mariner officiating.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma O'Sheilds of Salter Path and Gale Johnson of Morehead City; son, Douglas Guthrie of Salter Path; sister, Gladys Lewis of Salter Path; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Violet Howard.
The family will receive friends at the home of Gladys Lewis following the service.
