Georgia Wertman, 77, Newport, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Broad Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Ben Ball and Pastor George Cribbs officiating.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen B. Salter and husband Perry of Newport; son, Richard D. Brown and wife Rebecca of Newport; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
