George Jr. Labanon Acfalle, 49, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

A funeral mass to honor George’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 7th at Annunciation Catholic Church, presided by Rev. Thomas Davis. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. George will be laid to rest privately at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Born on October 1, 1976, in Berlin, Germany, George was the beloved son of George Quichocho Acfalle Sr. and Jeonalina Labanon Acfalle. He was born while his father proudly served in the United States Army.

George was a proud Chamorro Filipino whose heritage was at the heart of who he was. He embraced the traditions, values, and culture passed down through his family and carried them with great pride throughout his life. He believed deeply in honoring his elders, staying connected to family, and preserving the customs that shaped him. Whether through the intricate Chamorro-inspired jewelry he handcrafted or the traditional meals he lovingly prepared, George found joy in sharing his culture and bringing people together.

If you knew George, you knew there was rarely a dull moment. He had a quick wit, loved to joke around, and had a way of making people laugh, whether through playful teasing, clever one-liners, or his unforgettable sense of humor. He enjoyed making others smile and could brighten even the toughest day with one of his jokes. His laughter was contagious, and his playful spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Above all, George loved fiercely. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help family, friends, or even strangers in need. His love wasn’t always expressed with words—it was shown through acts of service, unwavering support, and what many came to know as his “tough love.” He expected the best from the people he cared about because he believed in their strength and potential. Behind his tough exterior was a compassionate man who would do anything for those he loved.

George was adventurous by nature and lived life with enthusiasm. He welcomed new experiences, loved the thrill of the open road, and never backed down from a challenge. A competitor at heart, he enjoyed pushing himself and those around him, whether on the baseball field, during friendly competitions, or simply striving to do his best in everything he pursued. His determination, resilience, and fighting spirit made him a true survivor who faced life’s hardships with courage and perseverance.

George was a dedicated sheet metal mechanic with Civil Service, where he took great pride in his craftsmanship and built lasting friendships with his coworkers. His strong work ethic, dependability, and loyalty earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

His passion for anything with wheels was undeniable. He meticulously cared for his vehicles, took pride in his car, and especially loved riding his Harley-Davidson. The freedom of the open road brought him peace, but it was the brotherhood he found as a loyal member of the Steel Sons Bike Club that meant the most. His friendships ran deep, and he was the kind of friend who would always show up when you needed him.

An outdoorsman at heart, George felt most alive surrounded by nature. Whether fishing, hunting, or spending time at the shooting range, he appreciated every opportunity to be outdoors. He was also an avid WWE fan who never missed the excitement of a great match and loved baseball, whether playing the game himself or cheering from the sidelines.

George took pride in the way he carried himself. Known for his impeccable sense of style, he carefully coordinated every outfit—from his shoes and hats to his signature Oakley sunglasses. His confidence, warm smile, and unmistakable presence could light up any room.

More than anything, George will be remembered for the way he loved, protected, encouraged, and entertained those around him. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, a proud uncle, a loyal friend, and someone who made people feel like family. His strength, resilience, generosity, infectious laughter, unforgettable jokes, adventurous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for his family, friends, and Chamorro Filipino heritage leave behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us, the countless memories, stories, and laughter he gave to those who loved him will continue to live on.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Jeonalina Labanon Acfalle of Havelock, North Carolina; his brothers, Nathaniel Acfalle and Jonathan Acfalle, both of Havelock; and his many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

George was preceded in death by his beloved father, George Quichocho Acfalle Sr., who passed away in 2024.
