Frederick Hopewell, 61, of Swansboro, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Carteret Health Care.
Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Hopewell, Frederick, or Freddy J, no matter how you knew him, you knew he loved his country and was devoted to his family.
Fred, is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marcia; his sons, Conor and Kyle; his daughter, Kathleen; his brothers, James and Denis Hopewell; and his sister-in-law, Vallery.
A celebration of life will be scheduled once his beloved Irish and Buckeyes are playing.
