Fred Otto Pautz, 88, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Fred was born on December 17, 1937, in Glietzig, Germany, to the late Friedrich and Helene Pautz.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Christa Pautz; daughters, Joanne Atherton and husband Baylis of Austin, TX and Ann-Christin De La Iglesia and husband Alvaro of Chapel Hill, NC; and grandson, Charlie Martin and wife Katie of Pittsburgh, PA.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his brother and sister.
