Evangeline Blasiman Laurie, 75, of Newport, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at her home.
She was a member of Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Laurie of Morehead City; three sons, Richard Blasiman and Samuel Blasiman both of Beaufort, and Earnest Blasiman of Newport; sister, Margaret Schuler of Akron, OH; brother, Levi Beck of Alliance, OH; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Buddy Blasiman, and husband, Albert Blasiman.
