Elizabeth Brown Wilson

Elizabeth Brown Wilson, 93, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Croatan Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

A memorial service to honor Elizabeth’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 8th at Glad Tidings Church with Pastor Tim Marriner and Pastor J.D. Davis officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Born on April 17, 1932, in Elmsford, New York, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Brown.

Elizabeth was a woman of deep and unwavering faith who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her Bible was rarely far from reach, and she spent countless hours reading and studying God’s Word. She was a faithful member of Glad Tidings Church for many years and dearly missed attending once her health no longer allowed her to go.

Elizabeth poured her love into her home and her family. She took great pride in being a homemaker and was an exceptional cook — especially known for her baked macaroni and cheese. Family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment with them. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother.

Elizabeth’s gentle spirit, strong faith, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tracey Chiacchia of Greenville, NC and Rebecca Passantino-Storms of Morehead City, NC; sons, Michael Storms of New York and Kevin Storms of Virginia; siblings, Deborah Brown and Bobby Brown, both of New York; 10 precious grandchildren; and countless great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Storms; sister, Ruth Brown; brothers, Charles Brown, Dennis Brown, and Henry Brown; and her sons, Steven Storms and George Brown.
