Elizabeth Colvin Miller

Elizabeth Colvin Miller, 80, born on October 26, 1944, in Glasgow, Scotland and passed away peacefully at her home in Morehead City, North Carolina, on October 9, 2025.

Elizabeth worked as a respiratory therapist for over thirty years at Carteret General Hospital and for short durations at Iredell Memorial and Davis Hospital in Statesville, NC.

She was a devoted wife to Jim, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to Bill and his children, she also had several cousins that she was very close to as well.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, William “Billy” Miller (Angie) of Morehead City, NC; sister, Josie Bisesi; three grandchildren, Warren Miller (Carolyn) of Fayetteville, NC, Broghan Miller of Boston, MA and Skye Miller of Norfolk, VA; three nieces, Christie Dinwiddie, Janice Warren-Black and Michelle Paris; two nephews, Keith Johnson and Alan Paris; and one great grandson, Lochlan Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James R. Miller.
