Edith Love Brown

Edith L. Brown, 92, of Calvin Heights, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. James Chadwick officiating.

She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Lancour and husband Harold of Farmington Hills, MI; sons, Robert L. Brown, Jr. and wife Teresa Brown of Beaufort, Woody Brown of Cape Carteret, Les Brown and wife Kathryn Brown of Raleigh, and Elmer G. Brown and wife Lisa R. Brown of Morehead City; grandchildren, Regan Emily-Marie Brown Reynolds and husband Jason, Natalie Grace Goodman and husband Chris, Jackson Brown and Nicole Lewis and husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Carly Lewis, Logan Lewis, Grace Goodman, and Lincoln Goodman; her loving four legged companion, Rose Bud; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Brown, Sr.; daughter, Emily Marie Brown; parents, Jesse Fairly Love and Edna Culbreth Love; brothers, Buster, J.B., and Eiford; sisters, Carrie, Ruth, Fannie, Beatrice, and Louise.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Crystal Bluffs for the excellent care given to our Mother.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
