He took immense pride in his work, and those who knew him often said there was no one better at what he did. Through countless sacrifices and an unmatched work ethic, he devoted his life to providing for his family. Those who knew Kenny knew he never complained, no matter how difficult the road became.

Outside of work, Kenny enjoyed woodworking, history, motorcycles, and the outdoors. He especially cherished his Mustang, which brought him great pride and joy. He was determined, independent, and never one to back down from a challenge. Kenny had an incredible sense of humor and an unmatched ability to make people laugh. His quick wit, stubborn spirit, and the countless stories he left behind will continue to bring smiles to those who knew and loved him. Whether he was in the workshop, behind the wheel of his beloved Mustang, on a motorcycle, or sitting in a hunting blind, Kenny found joy in doing what he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Linda Lawrence. Together they built a life centered on family, perseverance, and unconditional commitment. Linda’s unwavering love, strength, and tireless care carried Kenny through his final years. He is also survived by his daughters, Danielle Paulson of Sheboygan, WI, Kendra Lawrence of Stella, NC, and Kayla Joyner and her husband, Blake Joyner, of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Connor, Savannah, Tyler, Ryleigh, Abel, Noah, and Dawson; his brother, Lanny Lawrence and his wife, Lisa Lawrence, of Hubert, NC; his sister, Jill Lawrence of Southport, NC; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
