Earl Braxton, 83, of Morehead City, died Monday, January 30, 2012 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating.
Mr. Braxton was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington, D.C.. He retired from State Government and from the FBI.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie "Nell" Braxton of the home; daughter, Nelda B. Creech and husband Tommy of Morehead City; three grandchildren, Trey Braxton and fiance Tori Lippitt of Winston Salem, Kristy Creech Wells and husband Todd of Rocky Mount, and Stacy Creech Gandini and husband Michael of Hampstead; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah Gandini, Alec Gandini, Emma Gandini and Gavin Wells.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop # 130, at First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557
