Dorothy Griffin Meeks, 90, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

A funeral service to honor Dorothy's life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jessie Wombles. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Dorothy will be laid to rest privately at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
