Dorothy Lessey, 84, of Newport, died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her home. She was a wife, mother and accomplished local artist.
She is survived by two daughters, Christine Ann Alderson of Roanoke, VA and Debra Lynn Annen of Bowie, MD; three sons, Steven Jay Lessey of Sebastopol, CA, Scott David Lessey of Newport and Jeffery Thomas Lessey of Morehead City; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 3328 Bridges St. Suite D, Morehead City, NC.
