Dorothy (Hansley) Buck

Dorothy Hansley Buck, 61, of Newport, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Carteret General Hospital.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Joyce Hansley officiating.

Mrs. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and loving great-grandmother, who was an exceptional woman that was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Buck of the home; her son, Ernest James Buck, Jr. of Newport; two daughters, Meredith Lynn Fitzgerald and husband Roger, and Lisa Baysden and husband Dennis, Jr., all of Newport; brother, Thomas Ray Hansley; three sisters, Josephine Piver, Shirley Simerson, and Alice Reed; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nicole Buck, Ashley Rivera, Emily Fitzgerald, Drayson Walker, Shawn Driver, and Shane Baysden; and great-grandson, Tristan Rivera.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Thelma Hansley; and brother, John Harvey Hansley, Jr..

The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
