Debra Ann Jones

Debra Ann Jones, 71, of Morehead City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her home.

A graveside service to honor Debra’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 27 at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort.

Debra was born on November 14, 1953, in Morehead City, N.C., to the late George Hoover and Rose Pittman. She was a woman of deep faith, and her love for the Lord was always first in her life. Known for her giving heart, she was caring, thoughtful, and always put others before herself. She never met a stranger, greeting everyone with kindness and warmth.

A talented cook, she loved preparing meals that brought family and friends together around the table. Debra was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cherishing every moment with her family. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Teresa Wrenn (Jonathan) of Cedar Grove, North Carolina; grandchildren, Sabrina Grodem, Megan Albright, Nathan Wrenn, Chase Glenn, Dylan Wrenn; great-grandchildren, Roland Grodem, Jenson Wrenn, Jackson Albright, Cooper Albright, Leah Glenn, and one on the way in two weeks.

In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her son Sean Clifton Jones.
