October 8, 1931 — June 7, 2015
Dawn W. Lawrence, 83, of Otway, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Harborview Health Care Center.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Otway Christian Church with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
Dawn was employed by Beaufort Drug Store for 25 years, She was a member of the Otway Christian Church for over 50 years, where she was a long-time member of the church choir.
She is survived by her husband, of 64 years, Oliver C. Lawrence of the home; daughter, Theresa Beacham and husband, Steve of Beaufort; son, Timothy Lawrence of Otway; sister, Jackie Wade of Morehead City; granddaughters, Megan Nelson and husband, Greg, and Hayley Greene and husband, Tommy; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Harper Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Dudley; and her brother, Guy Douglas Dudley.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home.
