David Perry Patterson

David Perry Patterson, 58, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Born on April 22, 1966, in Asheboro, North Carolina, David was a beloved son of the late Douglas Patterson and Anette Bowling. Known for his passion for life, David loved playing golf and was always ready to go fishing. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers and watching intense wrestling matches. 

David will be fondly remembered by all who knew him including his loving companion, Sherry Laughlin of Havelock, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and James Garner of Asheboro, NC; and special nephew, Noah Patterson Cox of Asheboro, NC.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Priddy; brothers, Phillip Patterson and Larry Shope; step-mother, Fran Patterson; and step-son, Michael Laughlin.
