April 23, 1940 — December 26, 2009
David McCabe, 69, of Emerald Isle, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara McCabe of the home; two daughters, Darlene Thorne of Newport and Lisa Gore of Middlesex, NC; two sisters, Nancy Stoltenberg of Norfolk, NE and Karen Schmidt of Omaha, NE; three brothers, Douglas McCabe of Fremont, NE, Don McCabe of Fargo, ND, and Lowell McCabe of Lexington, OK; nine grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Dr, Greenville, NC 27834.
