Daniel "Danny" Hoback

Daniel “Danny” Hoback, 68, of Newport, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at his home.

Danny was born on April 29, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Eugene and Margie Hoback. Being a United States Marine Corp veteran was something of great pride for Danny who served his country honorably for 6 ½ years. Danny graduated, with honors, from Carteret Community College with an Associate Degree in Aqua Culture Technology. He loved the Lord and his church family at South Banks Community Church where he was a member. Danny will be remembered for being a loving husband of 12 years and a wonderful father.

He is survived by his loving wife, Erin Bingham; daughter, Heather Danielle Hoback of North Carolina; and brothers, Donald Hoback of Memphis, TN and Scott Stout, of Finger, TN.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Jo Doris Kirkland.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
