Daisy "Patsy" (Holt) King

Daisy "Patsy" King, 74, of Morehead City, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Morehead City with Rev. Darrel Williams and her grandson, Jonathan Violette officiating. A private interment will follow.
Mrs. King was a member of First Baptist Church of Morehead City, where she taught Sunday School for 30 years. She worked at the A&P in Morehead City for 13 years and she loved talking to others about the Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frederick Wayne King of the home; four children, Frederick Alan King, Sandra Jeanne King, Russell Earl King and wife Kelly and Daniel Jay King and wife Amy; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Violette, Kelly Welch, Emily King, Ethan King, Nickolas King, Gabriel King and Dalton Siggler; four great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Violette, Judah Violette, Anna Violette and Naomi Welch; and sister, Peggy Needham.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
