Connie was born on May 9, 1948, in Tabor City, NC, to the late Joseph and Pearl Turbeville. Her life was a beautiful testament to her love for the Lord, which was reflected in her unwavering love for others. She was a dedicated member of Crab Point Free Will Baptist Church where she loved and appreciated her church family.
From a young age Connie was talented with style and hairdressing. She pursued that passion and was blessed with a long career as a hairstylist where she thrived at making women feel and look their best.
In her free time, Connie loved to shop, she was a bargain hunter to the core. Her family often joked that she’d take advantage of a good deal whether she really needed it. Connie loved kids and enjoyed spoiling them with her love and kindness. Her creativity was seen through the numerous crafts she kept busy with and through her love for cooking when she made the most delicious meals and treats for her loved ones.
More than anything, Connie loved and appreciated her family, always treasuring the fun times they spent together.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her devoted son, Richard Wayne Alexander III of Crab Point; sister, Peggy Moore of Morehead City and Sue Willis of Newport; brothers, Joe Turbeville (Lynn) of Crab Point and Tony Turbeville (Carol) of Beaufort; special friend, Linda Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
