Clifton David Lawrence, Sr.

Clifton “David” Lawrence, Sr., 70, of Otway, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at his home.
The family and church will conduct a memorial service with military honors at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Otway Christian Church with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating.
Mr. Lawrence honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from civil service after a career at U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, and then he had a second career at the Morehead City State Port where he also retired.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lou Lawrence; son, Clifton David Lawrence, Jr.; three sisters, Rowena Guthrie, Pat Lawrence, and Arlene Fulcher; and granddaughter, Janie Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Elnora Lawrence.
