Claude "Al" Martin, 62, of Havelock, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 and then worked with civil service at Cherry Point.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Martin of the home; son, Travis Martin and wife Dawn of New Bern; mother-in-law, Ruby Russell of Sevierville, TN; sister, Victoria Anderson of Harriman, TN; also two grandchildren, Hunter Martin and Jakob Martin both of New Bern.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Martin and his parents, Curt and Martha Martin.
