Cindy Louise Bush Burns

Cindy Louise Bush Burns, 68, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Born on October 24, 1956, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to the late Edward and Myrna Bush, Cindy carried the values of compassion and kindness throughout her life.

Cindy was a woman with a tremendous heart, dedicating much of her time to helping others. Her commitment to community service was evident in her volunteer work at soup kitchens and visits to senior centers, where she spread warmth and kindness to those around her.

Cindy loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time in her garden, nurturing each bloom and plant with care and tenderness. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed getting lost in a good book.

Above all, Cindy will be remembered fondly as a loving mother, and devoted sister and aunt who loved her family with all her heart.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Brittany Burns (Patrick Bingman) of Newport, North Carolina; brothers, Lainard Bush (Joe Cook) of Oaxaca, Mexico and Tom Bush (Sharon) of Ashtabula, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
