May 15, 1959 — March 26, 2016
Christopher "Chris" Shinn, 56, of Atlantic Beach, passed away Saturday evening, March 26, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel of Morehead City with Pastor Nate Leonard officiating. A gathering of friends and family will take place following the service also at Munden Funeral Home.
Chris is survived by his daughter, Monica Greene and husband Barton of Atlantic Beach; son, Bryan Diez and his significant other, Jonathan Racey of Dallas, TX; his mother, Barbara Shinn of Englewood, OH; brother, Scott Shinn and wife Nancy of Dayton, OH; sister, Beth Laycox and husband Van of Englewood, OH; and grandchildren, Isabella "Raine" Greene, Sailor Monet Ruth Greene, and Elizabeth Trae Greene.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Shinn: and sister, Annette Lambert.
