Cheyenne Rene Amen, 37, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at her home.

Cheyenne was born on May 27, 1989, in Morehead City, North Carolina to Richard and Dawn Amen. She was kindhearted and a true friend to all her friends. Cheyenne had a way of making people feel welcomed and she was a great listener. A creative soul, Cheyenne loved making homemade treasures. She made jewelry, crafted dreamcatchers, painted seashells, and made one-of-a-kind gifts for many.

She spent time at home listening to music and her fondness for frogs always brought a smile to her face. For Cheyenne, family brought her the most happiness. She loved spending quiet evenings watching movies with her children. Proud of her Italian and German heritage, she shared her love through food, preparing delicious spaghetti and baking treats for her family and friends to enjoy.

Cheyenne will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, and loyal friend.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her father, Richard Amen; sons, Caden Alan Beau Quinn, Brody Lee Bird Amen; brother, Jesse Lewis Cox; and her dog, Cootie.

Cheyenne was preceded in death by her mother, Dawn Amen.
